Join us on Saturday, December 9 from 6:00-8:30 pm for our final Open Studios of 2023. We’re excited to feature guest artists from Malashock Dance Company as part of a diverse series of performances. Malashock dancer and choreographer Jessica Rabanzo-Flores and guitarist Rann Golamco will perform an excerpt of a longer work, “she is what she is and she is whole,” which was choreographed for and debuted at the ENVZN arts festival in September. It will also be featured in its entirety during Malashock’s Everyday Dances III showcase in January, 2024.
The full performance schedule includes the following:
OUTDOOR
6:00-6:30 pm Byron LaDue (Gordon Lightfoot tribute)
6:30-7:00 pm Alaric López (improvisational guitar)
7:00-7:15 pm Nick Lesley (experimental percussion)

As always, Space 4 Art studios will be open, so attendees can have an up-close-and-personal experience with artists and their work. For this holiday event, many of our tenant-artists will also feature artworks for sale in a mini-gallery created specially for this occasion. As a reminder, all art sale proceeds go directly to the artists; Space 4 Art never takes a percentage. #SupportLocalArtists #SupportLivingArtists
Back by popular demand, Tacoland SD will also have a taco truck onsite, and S4A will sell beverages at our concession table. Entry to our events are always free, but please bring cash, credit, or use Venmo to make food and art purchases. As always, check this website for last-minute updates to the schedule or activities; finally, please note that our event starts and ends earlier for this last Open Studios of 2023.
