We provide stable space to live and work so artists can truly focus on creative growth, educating youth, and community projects.

Since our inception in 2009, Space 4 Art has saved San Diego artists hundreds of thousands of dollars on housing and studio spaces. We are committed to promoting a community in support of diverse art practices— 2D art, sculpture, installation, performance art, music, media art, and interdisciplinary practices. The emphasis here is on compatibility and diversity– our artists inspire, challenge, and enter into dialogue with one another through their work.
