Open Studios is an opportunity for our resident artists to showcase their latest work and creative practices with friends and community— and a rare opportunity for the community to get an intimate view of the creative process.
Our outdoor performance/program schedule is:
5:15-5:45 pm Electronics trio: Amy Cimini, Jonathan Piper, and Nick Lesley
5:45-6:15 pm Killer Trees band
6:15-6:30 pm Special announcement!
6:30-7:00 pm Tobin Chodos, jazz pianist
7:00-7:30 pm Drummers Without Borders
Apart from our outdoor music performances, you can also expect these in-studio installations and performances:
An immersive theatre experience by Commit No Nuisance (aka Gaby Espina and Sara Shah), some of our newest resident artists, in Studio 27.
Cardboard House Event by Sean Francis Conway in Studio 28.
Live acoustic score to a silent film by Sean and Ryan Griffith in Studio 30.
Entry is always free, but bring cash, credit, or use Venmo to make purchases at our concession table. We’ll offer samosas, laddoos, beer, wine, and other NA drinks options!
Check back here closer to May 3 for tweaks to the performance schedule and other details.
