Geoffroy Tobé, one of the featured artists in Space 4 Art's 2024 exhibit, Creating in Community: A Group Exhibition, is hosting open gallery hours at Mesa College Art Gallery on Thursday, June 13 from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Curated by Alessandra Moctezuma, this show includes a comprehensive survey of work by 14 of our current resident artists, as well as offerings from our co-founders and some students whose work has been honed by our teaching artists. See below for information about participants, reception details, and parking suggestions.

The show's duration is June 3-18, and the gallery hours are normally by appointment only, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays. Geoffroy has made it easy for folks to visit on June 13 by offering open gallery hours the entire day!

This map shows the recommended entrance from Marlesta (on the west side of campus), and also an alternative route if you enter from the east side of campus.

DRIVING SUGGESTIONS:

In your navigation tool, type San Diego Mesa College Art Gallery, and it should direct you accurately. Or enter San Diego Mesa College Student Health Services. Note that there is a Mesa College Dr. exit sign going North from the 163 and 805 FWY.

The closest entrance to the Gallery (which is in the Fine Arts Building) is from Genesee/ Marlesta onto Chasewood. (See the left side of the map pictured above.)

If you enter from Mesa College Drive closest to Linda Vista, then you have to drive around the football field, all the way around to Parking Lot #1. (See the right side of the map pictured above.)

PARKING SUGGESTIONS:

Parking is free in Lot #1 in the spots marked STAFF, directly in front of the Fine Arts building’s giant white and yellow letters that say Art Gallery.
