City Heights Reports

A Puppet Theater Project

At Space 4 Art, we believe that art can help fortify communities and stimulate healthy socioeconomic growth— especially in historically disadvantaged neighborhoods. So we were delighted when one of our resident artists, Armando de la Torre, approached us to produce a high-quality video showcasing City Heights Reports, a collaboration between City Heights Youth for Change, San Diego Guild of Puppetry and The AjA Project, as part of our S4A TV program. In this video, you will see stories created from the ground up by children from one of our most diverse and dynamic neighborhoods.

This project is funded in whole or in part with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to the City of San Diego.
