Introducing S4A's New Treasurer: Dr. Anna Gallich
Space 4 Art is pleased to announce that Anna Gallich, DBA, PhD., has been elected as Treasurer of the Board, effective immediately. Anna’s election comes midway through a landmark year for the organization as it celebrates its December 9, 2009 founding and 15 years of supporting local artists, Open Studios, arts education programs, and more.
Anna succeeds Treasurer Pat Feller, a wealth-management expert with 27 years of experience in institutional and individual investment strategies. Pat will continue to contribute to the organization by serving on its Advisory Committee.
With more than 30 years of experience in accounting and finance, serving as Chief Financial Officer, Financial Controller, and Director of Finance across various industries and businesses of all sizes, Anna is well-versed in the unique challenges and reporting requirements that nonprofit organizations and small to medium-sized enterprises face in their day-to-day operations. She is passionate about helping leadership streamline their organizations and achieve their business goals.
“Being selected to join the board of Space 4 Art as Treasurer is a milestone that fills me with gratitude, excitement, and a strong sense of duty,” Anna said. “I am excited to embrace this opportunity, contribute my skills and expertise, and ensure the financial health and success of the organization.
“I understand that the success of artists directly contributes to the prosperity of our city. I believe in the mission of Space 4 Art because it enables us to make a lasting impact and continue driving positive change in our community.”
Anna brings a diverse educational background to the role of Treasurer, including undergraduate degrees in statistics, accounting, and integral studies, a graduate degree in psychology, and post-graduate degrees in business administration and clinical psychology. With a keen understanding of the interplay between finance, business, and psychology, she founded Business Acumen Services, a management consulting firm. Anna is dedicated to fostering positive organizational change, facilitating strategic transformations, and ensuring the overall financial success of her clients.
“As a lifelong learner, I am driven by deep curiosity, a passion for personal and professional growth, a desire to contribute to society, and the intrinsic joy of learning, Anna said. “This commitment to continuous education not only enriches my life but also empowers me to make a positive impact on those around me.
“As I continue this journey at Space 4 Art, I am excited about the endless possibilities that learning holds regarding artists’ education and work, and the countless new horizons yet to be explored.”
