Gratitude for Persient LLC, S4A’s Newest Corporate Sponsor
November is National Gratitude Month, and today we are filled to the brim with gratitude for Persient LLC, a San Diego-based middle market investment bank delivering creative, global take-to-market strategies for mature, profitable businesses ready for sale. In a truly innovative move, founder and managing member Ashish Jariwala decided to write philanthropy right into the corporate mission when he founded Persient in 2022. Crucially, he also decided that his gift would be based on gross receipts, not profits, greatly increasing the potential impact. Lucky for us, Jariwala chose Space 4 Art as the recipient of its big-spirited corporate giving policy for 2023.
“I wanted to share toward the right causes, directly from the top line and as part of the corporate mission,” Jariwala said. “I understand the ups & downs of small businesses, which makes it a tough choice for some, but I think sharing is like taxes we pay to the universe. A small business pays taxes to the feds/states in the up years, right, so why not share also in the up years? Taxes and sharing should go hand in hand. If the universe is blessing us, then sharing a part of the good fortune certainly makes sense– it is not about tax planning for me.”
Some would-be philanthropists struggle to determine which organizations will make best use of their gifts. Jariwala said he had no trouble zeroing in on Space 4 Art.
“Space 4 Art has a great mission, truly lovely people, and an honest intent and culture, which makes it an easier decision as I know my gift is going towards directly helping the cause,” Jariwala said, adding that he “truly appreciates everyone’s dedication to S4A’s mission.”
“What more can one ask for? Best wishes to Space 4 Art forever!”
Thank you, Ashish and Persient LLC, for this very generous model of giving!
